Blue Cheese and Honey Toasts

Looking for a quick and easy appetizer? All you need is some toasted baguette, blue cheese and some honey. The strong flavor of the blue cheese is set off deliciously by the honey.

I rubbed some sliced bread with olive oil and toasted at 350 degrees until browned. Top with a small piece of pungent blue cheese and pop back into the oven for 5 minutes until the cheese starts to melt. Drizzle with a little honey.

They taste great hot or cold with a glass of prosecco. (Well, I think they do!)

  2. Those look delicious, and they are a combo I've never thought of!

You posted a question on my blog about coats. The tailor was down in Eugene. I have an excellent recommendation for a good tailor (who will give estimates up front) in Portland though (since I used to live there)! Her name is Maggie Bogart, and her website is http://maggiebogart.com/. She took out the back of my wedding dress, added beading, took in the waist, and added a bustle for $135. That's a REALLY good rate for a wedding dress, which are more complicated. Knowing the price up front was also a relief.

Thanks for commenting! Hope to see you around.
