Got (Fish) Milk?
I bought some whole milk to see if Levi would be interested. I figured as long as I was getting organic milk everything would be okay. Levi had NO interest in the milk. He spit it out multiple times. I hated the idea of milk going to waste so one morning I added it to my coffee.
I spit it out! It was vile!
Then I read the label:
I am all for anchovies and sardines, but I won't touch tilapia with a 10 foot pole in or out of my carton of milk.
Please, no fish in my milk. Ever!
How vile is that?!
So yet another moral to the story, always read your labels!

Ugh!!!!! Gross!
ReplyDeleteGROSS!!
ReplyDeleteOooh, I also read recently that any fruit with an "8" in the code has been genetically modified. not sure if you track that sort of thing or care (some folks don't), but I thought I'd pass it on to look into if you do.
ReplyDeleteI have never heard of the code for genetically modified fruit! Thanks for passing it along. Ug! Why does all food require so much double checking!
DeleteSo many things with added Omega-whatevers are full of fish. Even ones that claim to have "no fishy taste" taste like boiled sardines to me. I once threw out a whole package of fish- and strawberry-flavoured yogurts.
ReplyDeleteEw! Yuck!
